Mineral wool
Mineral wool is commonly used in the production of insulation batts, and is known for being a very light weight material. This being the case whether the material is made from the fibers of stone, ceramic, glass, a combination of these or of something else.
As with such light weight materials, a small difference in weight can equate to a large difference in volume. This makes it necessary for the weighing equipment used in production of such metarials to be highly precise.
Weighing of such light materials can be a challenge, especially when a small variation in weight may result in a significant variation in volume of final product. Or, when ensuring correct dosages of raw materials of varying density, for production of the final product.
For both types of tasks, Jesma’s JesBuffer is the ideal system for weighing and dosing of very light materials (density from 0,2 kg/m3) like straw, paper, and different type of fibers which often can be found in waste materials. The dosing feeder system is for regulating and maintaining an even dosing flow of light materials.
