Vitamin and mineral mixes
Over or under dosing of vitamins and other feed and food ingredients can cause serious health problems in for example animals that are fed with the product. It is essential for the producers of feed to be able to rely on the additives application system they use.
Vitamin and mineral mixes are made up of several different ingredients and the number of the ingredients as well as the number of batches per hour needed for a recipe can differ. Jesma can supply batching system for up to 30 batches per hour.
Jesma’s systems are highly customizable, and we design your weighing- and dosing equipment based on among others the number of ingredients.
Our know-how allows us to take possible hang-up such as flowability and variating densities of the products into account when we design your weighing- and dosing solutions.
Testing ensures optimal utilization
Jesma has the facilities to perform tests on, for example, flow ability of an ingredient among many other physical properties. Testing helps determine and design the type of solutions best suited to offer you the highest possible accuracy and production efficiency.
Gain in weight versus loss in weight
Jesma offers very high precision gravimetric weighing- and dosing systems, as low as a few grams of variety for easy- and difficult flowing ingredients.
Advantages of loss in weight (LIW)
For the LIW solution weighing takes places after the loss in weight principle, and the storage/ weighing bin is suspended in three load cells. This type can be used for batch- or continuous weighing operation.
Advantages of gain in weight (GIW)
For the GIW solution weighing takes place in a static scale after the gain in weight principle, the number of load cells of the scales depending on the size/type of the scale. The gain in weight weighers is for batch operation only and normally have better accuracy and more easy to calibrate.
