Agrosuper, one of Chile’s leading food producers, has enhanced its feed production facility in La Estrella with Throughput scales and microdosing solutions from Jesma Weighing Solutions.
Since its founding in 1955, Agrosuper has built a vertically integrated production chain that covers every step from feed manufacturing to breeding, processing, distribution, and sales. The company’s goal was to find a microdosing system capable of adapting to its production capacity of 38,000 tons per month while maintaining precision and food safety across all processes.
After extensive evaluation, Agrosuper selected Jesma as its technology partner. The installation includes medi, macro and nano dosing systems designed to handle both granular and powdered ingredients with uniform dosing accuracy and stable material flow.
Minimization of cross-contamination
The systems are engineered to minimize cross-contamination between ingredients, ensuring compliance with strict hygiene and food safety standards. At the same time, the design offers easy access for operation and maintenance, making it ideal for continuous high-volume production.
